It's been a long long time, 6 months or so, guess I'm due for a bit of a 'what's been going on?'.
I bailed on Melbourne right before Christmas, and went on a trip with Connie to Asia. We started in Malaysia, and ended up on Boracay Island in the Philippines. The whole time we were in Malaysia her friends took us all over, mostly KL and Boreo. We spent the whole time eating, tried a million different kinds of food. Favorites were the 'steamboat' and of course the fried icecream at the fair. We went to Connie's hometown and met her aunt who nobody suspected could speak English and then out of nowhere starts chatting me up, a trip highlight. We then went to Manila
